Content: The lecture will discuss the issues of smart marketing and governance in China from the perspective of algorithm aversion, "new terror valley" effect, human-machine collaboration, and smart governance.
Speaker Bio: Chang Yaping is a level-two professor and teaching master at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a distinguished professor of the Huazhong Outstanding Scholar program, and an expert receiving special allowance from the State Council. He has presided over two key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and three general projects. He has published 38 academic papers in SSCI, SCI journals such as Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Business Research, with a highest citation of 203 and a total citation of 1023 and an H-index of 15. He has also published 54 academic papers in CSSCI journals such as Journal of Management Sciences, Journal of Systems Engineering Theory and Practice, Nankai Business Review, and Acta Psychologica Sinica, with a highest citation of 238 and a total citation of 4073. He has completed 58 consulting and advisory projects for enterprises and governments, and two of them won the second prize for scientific and technological progress in Hubei Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
